Groceries

We restocked some of our freezer and pantry yesterday. We hadn't grocery shopped in a while but were pleasantly surprised at our bill even though I could not use any coupons for what we bought. I have always hated grocery shopping but yesterday it wasn't so bad. I don't think I ever new exactly what I had at home before. I have tried shopping with a list, doing the price book thing, inventorying the pantry and freezer, but it just seemed like so much work and then to shop with little kids, or even bigger kids. Well it was never fun.

    I hate shopping! I like to do it all at once, like pulling off a band aid!

    When I go shopping that's the way I do it. There is a grocery store, a dollar store connected together, and another dollar store right across the street from the grocery store and dollar store. As if that's not enough, across the main town road, there is a surplus/secondhand store. So when I go shopping it's very easy for me to get my shopping done all in one area. Oh yes, right next to that other dollar store is where the chinese restarunt is. I really like that.
    Of course there is also a Wal-mart Super Center, but it's further away to get to by bike than I care to go. The other places are only six blocks from where I live.
