Saturday

My husband had a golf outting. In the past, I would go shopping on this day, you know, he's having fun so I'm going to have fun. This past Saturday I didn't go. I stayed home, made my grocery list, pulled coupons, settled my weekly finances, gardened a bit, baked a bit and watched a movie on TV(made popcorn and everything). My bottle line finanially is in tact. I didn't miss a thing and felt good doing it.

    Good for you!! I am a golf widow today and plan on doing much of the same. It is satisfying to find frugal alternatives to shopping!!
