We had to get groceries, we have this budgeted and we were within our budget. Is this a no spend day? We didn't get anything we didn't need. If it doesn't count then when ever we pay our bills, even though it's budgeted for, counts as spending. I'll have to think of a new challenge.
No Spend Day??

It's a day where I have paid no bills, bought nothing...ordered nothing...
I started noting my "no spend" days, years ago, when I challenged myself to a month of NO spending (other than house pymt & normal utilities.) The money I saved I was giving to a friend who had a mission trip coming up. From there on, I continued to do the same thing each January...
It did a couple things for me. I felt like I was counteracting the barrage of commercialism from the holiday season; and it made me clean out my pantry and freezer, since I didn't buy any food either.
I've added in my no spend days throughout the other months, just to keep in practice I guess.
I don't need much these days, so it is a pretty easy exercise here. Being old has it's advantages!

The No Spend Days are defined by what you feel comfortable with and what will challenge you - for some of us it is okay if the spending is in the budget for others it means "nothing out at all".
You are doing so well - don't let this slow you down.
